That question brought me to this work.

Hello, my name is Ms Reena, and I've spent my career sitting at exactly that intersection,  the place where learning meets feeling, where a child's confidence and her capability are completely tied together.

​

"Every child is capable of more than she currently believes she is. Sometimes she just needs the right person to hold that belief for her — long enough for it to become her own."

I began in the classroom with the littlest ones,  Kindergarten to Year 2 and there is truly nothing like watching a child crack the code of reading for the very first time. That spark in her eyes. I taught phonics, writing, early maths, and the quiet, steady art of helping a child feel like she belongs in the room. Then I moved into Learning and Support, walking alongside children from Kindergarten to year 6 who needed something a little more tailored,  programs built gently around their needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

And because I always wanted to understand the why behind what I was seeing in children, I went back to study. I hold a combined Bachelor of Psychology and Education from Macquarie University, and a Master of Psychological Practice in School Psychology from Charles Sturt University. This isn't a background I wear as a badge, but it's a lens. It changes how I see your daughter, how I listen, and how I support her.

I've worked with children across every year level from Kindergarten to Year 6 . From busy classrooms, quiet one-on-one rooms, support teams, and family homes. And what I know, in my bones, is this: every child is capable of more than she currently believes she is. Sometimes she just needs the right person to hold that belief for her, long enough for it to become her own.
